Subject: Medical Update on Brother Newell Swartz

I finally reached Maria last evening after she returned from the hospital. Newell is still in ICU and continues to get stronger. He continues to fight an infection in his lungs and has a new Doctor helping with that. His is aware of what his going on and can communicate with Maria. He continues to have visitors and is excited when they visit. This appears to be a long fight and Maria believes he will recover and come home at some point. She tells Newell the VSPA is praying for their Brother and he is most appreciative of our support.
