Subject: CSD/MACV US Embassy Saigon

HELP: Trying to locate information on a very unique group of Vietnam SPs …
I was PCS to the 31st SPS Tuy Hoa, A.B. from October 1967 until February 1970. During my last extension of three, I was dispatched TDY for 6 months (June to November 1969) to CSD/MACV & worked for the U.S. Embassy Security Office with Nine (9) other seasoned E4 SP’s, one (1) SP from each Air Base in Vietnam. We (10) were housed together in a large French style Villa compound at 181 TMK street, Saigon & reported directly to the Embassy Security Officer for daily duty assignments. I only knew the other SPs by first name (Barry, Dan, Lee, Russ. Terry, & ????) so I have no way to track them down or make contact. Also, I assume that there were other SP’s before and/or after me who had the honor & privilege of this very special duty assignment. Should anyone have knowledge or information please contact me two two 4 two three 4 double 8 nine six or here or email. Our motto “Can do EZ” & we DID! … Thank You, your comments most welcome … J.O.
