Taking some time off as I had cataract surgery on May 8th & I will be having the other eye done on May 22nd, so far the difference is beyond amazing to me as I had never thought I would ever see this clearly again and the colors unreal how bright and clear. Can't hardly wait for my other eye to be done now! Ellie & I are going to a very special banquet on Monday celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Air Force & the 100th anniversary of Selfridge ANG base here in our own local community. Selfridge was an active duty U.S. Air Force base from 1917 through the late 1960's at which time it became an Air National Guard base now housing all service branches as well as the northern HQ for Homeland Security & also the U.S. Border Patrol operations along the Canadian border. Lots of big brass will be there as well for this celebration. Terry Sasek BT 68-69 LM#687
