Jackie, I can't even begin to find the words to describe my own sadness upon reading your posting today on here, it is beyond comprehension that this whole thing had blown up to this moment and has led to you making this very sad choice today over you expressing your own feelings on respecting our beloved nation's flag, but I do understand your reason for your decision and can only say how much I personally do respect you and your great friendship to me over the last ten years. Regardless, I do hope that you will remain in contact with me in the future and once again I want very much to thank you for all of your support of my own poetry.
