I reached out to Lew & Scotti by contacting their granddaughter, Shelby, to find out how they were doing. She told me that Lew went into the hospital for some type of virus that was causing confusion and a pretty bad cough. He had a pretty low BP and got a unit of blood which helped. However, he should be home now. Please keep him in your prayers.

Scotti has had fluid build up in her lungs but the doctors are unsure about what is causing it. She had been going in to the hospital to have it drained, but now wants to do it at home. She is also now on oxygen, which is making getting around difficult.

As for the problem with Tricare, they were having troubles initially scheduling a nurse team to come in, but her daughter has scheduled an appointment for this Friday.

All is good now. However, we need to keep Scotti in our prayers as well.
