You can shop at the BX/NEX (any Base) if you are a Vet. This includes the BX web site at https://www.shopmyexchange.com/

There is still a decent savings at the Commissary but you will probably find the BX/NEX is of little value. I have both an AF and a Navy Exchange, within 5-6 miles and I rarely, if ever shop there. I find things cheaper at Target or Walmart. If anyone plans on saving on beer, liquor or cigarettes, forget it. I do use the Commissary and find the best savings are on canned goods and dairy products.
