OBITUARY:

John Paul (J.P.) Mullen, born Dec. 9, 1955, in Clearfield, PA, was the only child of Paul and Doris (Marsh) Mullen.

John graduated from DuBois High School in Pennsylvania in 1973. Sgt. Mullen was a Vietnam veteran, serving as a Security Specialist at Air America Headquarters from 1974–1975.

J.P. was employed for much of his life as a Key Grip with Pinnacle Productions International. Pinnacle created show openings for network and cable television. His knowledge of dogs and baseball were well known to all who met him.

He truly believed God and dogs both blessed his entire life. John is survived by his son, Ryan, and daughter, Jami, both of Hawaii, as well as many friends he made all over the country.

On December 7, 2021, in Fountain, Colorado, John lost his battle with Agent Orange cancer surrounded at home by the loving and caring support from friend/cousin, Sandie (Freeman) Comstock and neighbor, Rita Cooper, who both provided him consistent care and love in the final chapter of his life.

We would also like to thank John's RN, Karen Ruge, who helped us all tremendously.

John's final resting place will be Pikes Peak National Cemetery, Colorado Springs, CO.

Blessings and Barks
