Subject: Where did the time go ?

Greetings VSPA ,
I was just reading in the "Dates in History" section of the local newspaper here in Asheville on March 8th 1965 , the Marines landed in Da Nang to defend the Da Nang Air Base . That was the official beginning of the Build Up and I arrived in Viet Nam a couple of months later in early July . It's hard to believe that it's been 57 years ago .That's a perfect place for a cliche but I'll resist the temptation .
