Subject: D-Day, June 6, 1944

Gents,

We remember the Greatest Generation landed at Normandy on this date,77 years ago. We are the Sons of the Greatest Generation, and served our nation, as did they. But I wonder how many high-schoolers recently graduated could tell us the significance of this date in American and World History?
