Don, I agree with what you’ve presented and no matter what it costs and how we propose to harden our kids schools there remains the Elephant in the Classroom. The person that walks in to any gun store and is happily armed to the teeth regardless of any cautionary requirements on the sellers..I’m willing to guess the Texas governor’s may have seen that transaction as another number in his Texas quest to outgun California in gun ownership. That was until the reality of a semiautomatic weapon in the hands of an 18 year old screwed up all previous and now newest tragedy that has left this towns families, law enforcement, leaders and a movie star demanding we address the obvious. Pass National legislation that the overwhelming majority of our citizens believe will make the gun industry, NRA and there lobbyists the first to admit that enough is enough. Otherwise I agree with Don, create a prison type learning environment for our children and grandkids and if that fails too, demand they learn to use and carry a Stop the Bleed First Aid Kit in their back pack as the tragic last resort.
