Remember the shorts, knee socks and pith helments. Hated them.Loved the Ike jackets, especially for us cops and our gear.Pay was pathetic, don't believe it changed much from WWII.Difficult to believe how things have changed.When I went in we still had guys completing their 20 and 30 yrs back to WWII and Korea. Some interesting characters both officers and non-coms even some POW's.Thanks for setting the stage for some look back on our careers.
