Subject: Vietnam Wall Washing

Eagle Chapter, AF Security Forces Association will hold its next washing of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (The Wall) on Saturday, Aug 9th. That's the 2nd Saturday, in August.

We assemble for "Guardmount" at 0630, at the Flag pole, by the 3 servicemen statue. After a short briefing from National Park Service, Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance, we go to work. We will be finished by 0800, so you can go about your DC activities.

Washing the Wall is a very moving and respectful experience. It is Chicken Soup for the Soul.

If you live in the area or plan to visit DC around Aug 9th, join us for this very rewarding experience.
