Thanks for the post WRD... since the Stones WERE Brian's band the footage really captures the band kicking some serious ass!! Why ALO ever decided (along with Mick & Keith) to put Brian in the background is beyond me. The only reason I can think of is out of spite. They did not get along and it was the beginning of the band's control slipping through Brian's fingers. I have read there was a vote (amongst the band) to "just try it" see what happens etc... the other guys didn't seem to care or not... but to Brian it was a big blow to his ego. They were already on the verge of making it big time but surely Mick and Keith did not mind and having ALO on their side just cemented the deal. Brian of course "wen't along with the decision" for the group but one can tell from watching the old videos he had a lot more fun playing out front then he did playing in the background in the later years. Everyone always claims that Brian was the "bad guy" or "always thinking about himself" but this decision puts the negative spotlight directly on ALO, Mick and Keith.

They are the hypocrits not Brian. Always have and always will be. Say one thing then put the opposite and you have Mick, Keith and ALO.
