First of all, I really do appreciate the time you took to do these reviews. Secondly, I enjoy the praise you gave. Thirdly, the criticisms were valid.

Fisherman Job Interview - Yeah, the the applicant could have been slightly more elaborated, but as you noted, he was set up as the straight man, so I left the humor up to the crusty old guy. It might have been nice, though, to have him react in a humorous manner occasionally, which would have given a better glimpse of his personality and potentially elicited more laughs, making for a better overall sketch.

The Time Machine - I felt that this skit went by too quickly...and it's a four page sketch, likely taking up five-six minutes of TV time if aired! Yet, I agree that there is a difficult transition at the end...or at least it looks like that on paper. In a lot of sketches, this type of quick transition to resolution occurs, but the performances of the characters seem to make it more appropriate. In this case, while Matthew enumerates the "point" of the sketch...that Jesus is teaching them homosexuals are humans too, and should therefore be treated equally...maybe some sentimental music pops up, and he is extra-emotional in his delivery, ultimately swaying the viewer, much less the hard-bitten, conservative Brother Stephen. However, the latter does not come out on paper well...but still, it would have helped to add some more lines of dialogue in there to ensure that the reader understands why Brother Stephen would change his ways.

Again, thanks a bunch for reviewing!

JPIII
