Subject: A little Sex slave told me that SNY's WU needed a review
In reply to: Patrick Lonergan 's message, "REVIEWS: Lindsay Lohan 04/15/06" on 17:54:00 04/15/06 Sat

Here it is, I don’t know if I will be able to do a full review. But here’s the WU for starters.

Iran President: Could have been shorter, took awhile to get to the punch line, but it was okay.
Easter: Okay, I've seen the Easter Bunny crucified joke done before, Conan, Internet, and in other mediums, so it was stale for me.
President Bush: Eh, it was so-so. Still decent, but not outstanding.
Illegal Immigrants: Again same with this joke, not too bad, but not great.
Tom Cruise: Here’s the thing... I don’t have a problem with celebrity jokes. I just think they can be presented in clever and smaller doses. This is an example of a bland joke, because A. it’s not creative, and B, the subject matter is old.
Danish: Spurgan Morlock, heh that was funny. But the rest of the punch line was weak.
Pass Gas: Fell flat in my opinion. I would have done “in a related story” and then make a common sense statement.
Jay-C: I think I’ve only laughed once at Jay-C. The problem is that sick ideas are not always funny. And masturbation jokes are also not that funny. It would have to be uber creative to make me laugh. And the shock of has worn off so there’s nothing else that can be done with him. Unless you can come up with some crazy new premise I’d retire Jay C. Probably go for a plot
Stalker: Not bad, kinda built up and then bam jab at Angelina. I will take it, sure it was stale, but it was a bit clever.
Hobo Weekly: This was actually funny. Joke of the week!
Sharon Stone: The stale non-creative Beaver joke that we’ve seen for weeks.
You're Wrong for that: This whole bit didn't work for me, the fish sticks promo did nothing and the joke itself was weak. Sorry.
Medium: I chuckled at this for a minute.
Jenny: The punch line fell flat for ths one.
Dolly Pardon: Who is Dolly Pardon again? A ha just kidding, I know who she is. The big breasts with Pardon jokes have been done way too many times.
"TOM" : Crazy Tom. This was half good half bad. The MYSPACE jabs were okay, but the freak out portion did nothing. I would have just had him answer more questions about the drawbacks of MYSPACE.
Blindness: I did a variation of this punch line when a story came out about hearing loss associated with IPODs, see the Heder WU. But anyways, it was okay, though it’ll be stale for me next time around.
Bear: The punch line was okay, but predictable... bear attacks and then a yogi reference.
Cannon: The random Risk reference was excellent.

Overall, I don't know, our features need a bit of change up. I have some ideas I might try in May. As far as jokes go, let's work on the punch line and delivery. I think the chat board and live chat is the best place to test out jokes. Provided that people leave feedback.
