Prateek, here is your review. I am not going to review stuff from older episodes unless asked. (I will get to work on Kevin Spacey, however.)

First off, you should know that Bill O’Reilly actually likes Stephen, believe it or not. Here they are at the Time 100 Most Influential People Thingy…

Aww.

Anyway.

“A fortune cookie is more honest than this network.” Not very subtle, but I know I would laugh anyway. Probably more of a testament to my disregard for Fox News.

Wow, just reading the first paragraph, there are a lot of Colbert Report in-jokes. Great for the fans such as myself, but not so much for the people who don’t have cable or just don’t watch the show. The platypus would probably get a laugh though, just because the platypus is such a ridiculous animal.
“snail eating ritual” good.
“Snails dying out” can’t follow, nope.
Talking to the producer – doesn’t work in this case, unless O’Reilly actually does converse with his producer on-camera a lot. (In case you haven’t guessed, I’m not a frequent watcher of The Factor.) And the fingering joke is just gratuitous, IMO.
The thing about direct parody or satire is that the writer is constantly walking a line between the reality of the subject and exaggeration. It has to be exaggerated enough to be funny, but if you get caught up in the exaggeration, the subject becomes unrecognizable, and we just see a ridiculous unfamiliar character, rather than seeing the absurdity of the actual subject (which is the objective of satire.)
MC Bitchcakes – pointless.
The flashback is pretty amusing, although again, not very subtle. Logistical point: why would Julia worry about him telling her parents anything? That didn’t make sense.
Clarification point: Bill O’Reilly did not technically have an affair. He just left phone messages for this woman who worked for him about things he wanted to do to her involving Eastern cuisine. :D
