I was talking to Patrick about this idea that I had for February, and he expressed a lot of interest in it. So now, I'm going to tell everybody else what I told him.

In February, SNL goes off the air to make way for NBC Winter Olympic coverage. At the same time, this website will have surpassed 5 years online. So I got to thinking, if SNL has these big Anniversary shows every so often, why don't we?

Here is a tentative idea as to how this "show" should be organized. It should be a combination of new matterial with "Clip Packages" of our best bits from the past 5 years. By "Clips", I was thinking about listing our funniest individual lines from each season at one season per page. (And one Package for our combined Summer shows.) Plus montages of various miscelanious moments, if needed.

In addition, we should also have a list of the 5 (or 10) best Non-Opening SNY sketches as voted on by the public--Or if there's not enough interest, by us writers. I say "Non-Opening" because it might look a little silly to see someone say "LFNY..." In the middle of the show.

As for "Original Matterial" here's what I had in mind; An Opening Sketch, obviously. A Monolouge of course, Plus, In between each segment we should have one Writer Pair himself with a Celebrity of their choice, (No Duplicates) and introduce whatever segment.

Like I said, this is a tentative plan for the show...Provided that there's intrest for it. If you have any other suggestions as to how this show could be run, feel free to e-mail me some suggestions (Link is on my name.)

I think this is a great chance to cut look back on our work and say to ourselves..."Wow, we've been doing this for 5 years...Woah!" Anyway, let me know what you all think, and let's get something started...Preferably a party of some kind.
