I figured that sketch would have a few jokes that went over people's heads if they weren't up on Greek mythology, but I always wanted to do a literary piece. I've gotten other comments about the dangers of too many inside jokes, so now I know to avoid them in the future. I guess that puts a damper on my "Young Galileo" piece.

Anyway, I haven't heard the Oedipus song, but I do enjoy Tom Lehrer's work. My favorite songs of his are the one where he recites the periodic table to the tune of "Modern Major General" and what I consider his best work, "Poisoning Pidgeons in the Park."
