Here’s a list of my mock host nominations. For most I gave more info to help sell them. Some of them I’ve grouped together, because their info is similar, but they can host individually or co-host.

Stephen Colbert(definitely)
Jim Gaffigan-comedian, actor, been in Super Troopers, VH1 stuff, commercials, That 70's Show, you name it, may be a bit unoticed now, but he's definitely what the show needs. Saw him live loved it, his sarcasm and observational humor is excellent. From the reaction he got, he's on track to Dane Cook fanbase and the best way to help reach that level is to have him host.
Hank Azaria-he's on the Simpsons, sketch comedy guy.
Demetri Martin-stand-up comedian, much like Mitch Hedberg, he has a "Dane Cook" following, so his comedy album may do well when it debuts over the summer. Let's help him out, and been on Daily Show if anything else.
Stephen Root-King of the Hill, Milton from Office Space, Dodgeball, he'll be a good character for weirdo sketches.
Kurtwood Smith- Better known as Red Foreman. You know him and I'm sure you love him, I can easily see him as Christopher Walken, the tough guy acting funny. How can you deny anyone from Robocop a chance to host.
Kal Penn-I'm not just saying that because he's Indian. We need minority hosts people you can have some great racial humor here. He has great versatility, got stuff to promote, he's apparently in Superman Returns , got some other movie due in august and sequels in 2007.
George Lopez-another minority host. He's a standup, does some wild characters if you've ever seen him and good voice range for impressions. We need to make up for Antonio.
Rowan Atkinson- Mr. Bean for those who don't know.
John Krasinski, Jenna Fisher, Rainn Wilson: Jim, Pam, and Dwight from the Office. A least one of them should mock host. I'm thinking John or Jenna.
Michael Ian Black-Part of Stella, comedian, from the sketch show, "The State" so you know it'll be good, he's awesome!
David Wain and Mike Showalter- each have had some indie hits, The Baxter and Wet Hot Summer, both were in The State and part of Stella so you know you want ‘em
Sen. Barack Obama-Anyone see him on the Daily Show? He’s awesome and I can imagine some great sketches.
Ice Cube-Before you stop me, those Friday Movies are hilarious, and because it’s a mock episode no worries about cue card reading or nothing. Plus he was slated to host last year, let’s try to one up SNL.
Tommy Chong and Cheech Marin-Co host or individually, it doesn’t matter to me. Stoner sketches a plenty. And hey Cheech Marin was on Jag and Tommy played a hippie, but hilarious in my mind.
Michael Richards-Kramer was denied a chance to host, when he was hot! So throw him a life saver!
Dustin Hoffman: Never hosted! As long as the movie parodies are kept to minimum this could be a hilarious show.
Cedric the Entertainer-He’s a hilarious stand-up. Had a sketch show on Fox a while back, but I can see some great versatility from him.
Kevin McDonald and Dave Foley: Kids in the Hall Alum, do a lot of voice over work and kids movies these days, it’s a shame, but it’s a paycheck. Save them some dignity and vote for them absurd and offbeat humor is their forte.
Will Arnett-More than just Amy’s husband and Arrested Alum, hilarious guy and slated to appear in some movies with SNL regulars.
For those of us in need of females how about
Keira Knightly, Pirates of the Caribbean 2 comes out and
Eva Mendes- uh she’s been in some films Rush Hour 2 and Tortilla Soup only come to mind. But she's hot okay.
Anna Faris-as much as I hate the recent Scary Movies, no denying her comedic talent
Zooey Daschanel-been in Elf, Hitchikers Guide, and provided sarcastic quips in Failure to Launch
And of course you can’t go wrong with... Former President Clinton. Come on there’s no denying it. It’s a guilty pleasure for all SNL fans. Let’s show the people why this is a mock season.

That’s all I can think of for now. This is a good selection but I will add more as I think of them.
Before... I depart, I suggest for one of the episodes, I say we make a time travelling episode. The host can be a departed comedy legend(Don Knotts, WC Fields, Laurel&Hardy) and it’ll be set in the future, with cast member descendants and robots and aliens it’ll be a timeless episode. Additionally... are we still doing that 5th Anniversary special episode thing? I’m all for it, but let’s pick a time when we can have maximum writer input, the summer’s not a bad time.
Well that's all for me.
