I haven't been submitting or reviewing as much due to schoolwork, but I've got a little break, so here's my rundown of the show:

"And the Oscar Goes To" - Very good stuff, the character parodies hit dead on. Spade's reactions and comments were hilarious. That, and the titles of movie parodies and slams at the stars were great.

"Monologue" - I'm not too fond of sketches that utilize current cast members portraying deceased, legendary members. So this really didn't appeal to me. That, and the dialoge was rather weak and not very funny. I couldn't find any real jokes in it.

"Unstar" - An interesting premise, but it wasn't carried out very effectively. This is a better visual sketch, and it didn't have too many humorous lines.

"Einstein Time" - Hilarious. It's been a while since there's been a good gameshow parody, and this was a welcome return. Batts' frustration with the contestants and the inanity of the questions were absurd and wonderful. The interaction and building tension enhanced its comedic appeal. Very nice, Jason.

"David Spade: The First Man to Give Birth" - Didn't like this one bit.

"Zynor" - the concept of doing a humorous bit about the side effects of a medicine has been done to death, but this was okay. The list of potential side effects became funnier as it built, and the announcer's frustration was good as well. It could have had a better ending, though.

"Be Cool - Just Say No" - another so-so sketch. It had a couple of funny lines, and a nice return to the interplay between a manic Joe Pesci charicature and a laid-back De Niro, but the profanity brought it down, and the ending really didn't go anywhere.

"Shower? I hardly know her!" - Man this was freaky... freaky and hilarious. All the obstacles Kevin had to go through were great, and the ending was a killer. This gets my vote for best of the show.

"Bad Planet" - the second-best skit of the night, IMHO. It had another wonderfully absurd premise and some great dialogue and character interaction. Still, the ending could have been a little better, maybe the hand would point down at the stargazers and a loud voice from the heavens would tell them to get a life, or something like that. All in all, it's still good.

"It's Called PMS" - I didn't like it, sorry. Berating women for acting bitchy when it's their time of the month only to have them react violently is another done-to-death routine, and there weren't too many funny lines.

"A Trip to Blockbuster" - First, I must comment PRateek for developing a successful recurring character, something I have yet to do. And he shines again in this sketch. His annoyance of the clerk is quite good, not to mention he has some very good lines bashing bad movies and actors. The ending was wierd, but interesting. Nice job.
