Subject: I have to explain the monolouge...
In reply to: Patrick Lonergan 's message, "REVIEWS: Lewis Black 06/18/05" on 21:05:10 06/18/05 Sat

For those who have not read it yet, I have the honor of writing this week's monolouge. And I'm here to assure you that the monolouge that I wrote is in fact 100% my own matterial. I know that I have been picked on in the past for ripping off matterial from other sources, (I.e. Mad Magazine) but that's only because I was a rookie writer back then and I didn't know any better.

This monolouge happens to be based on real life situations that I have come across at one point or another while working in retail, (For further reference, see "America's Dumbest Customers") I just added some mannerisms that Lewis Black might use in his act. I'm a huge fan of Lewis Black, and while he has done some monolouges on holidays--Christmas being one of them--in the past, I can assure you that the matterial is still my own. I'm only saying this in case there is a bigger Lew fan out there, and is willing to refute this claim; But I have dated proof that can say otherwise, and Patrick can back me up on this.

So to sum up, the matterial in question has not been infringed in any way if you were curious as to how this one-man monolouge was written; it's 100% yours truely. I hate to use terms like "Labor of Love", cause those take longer to accomplish. But this is nothing more than a peak inside my mind, Thank you for your time.

J.K.---
