I have the same disclaimer on this site AND SNL Transcripts, yet people still write both web sites under the impression that there is a connection to SNL and NBC. I used to reply by telling these people the sites are unaffiliated, but now I just delete them immediately since I don't know how I can make it more obvious on the front pages that the sites ARE NOT affiliate with SNL and NBC. People have actually summarized comedy ideas, asked me to pass the idea on to Lorne Michaels, and that they look forward to seeing the sketch on the show that weekend. I like to assume these people are trying to put me on, but I tend to believe it's a truer statement to assume they really are that clueless. I don't say that to be mean or conceited, but it baffles me that anyone would think show business operates as simple as that.
