Hello everyone Jack here again, Oh what a wacky week it has been around here, well I say to everyone just go ahead and relax, remember if you let Wes get to you the terrorists win! Anyhoo here are some of my tips of the week.

TV shows for the week- eh not too much
Thursday- Joey NBC if your not busy
Friday-Zilch
Saturday-The usual cool stuff albeit a rerun
Sunday- Simpsons, Harvey Birdman (Cartoon Network, this show makes our chat room sessions look subdued)

Cinemax overplayed movie of the month- Gremlins 2- While definitely not as good as the first one its still pretty cool watch as the little stripe gremlin gets wet and nearly destroys New York. Why they just havent killed the Stripe gremlin is news to me.

Now onto the rest of the review

Celeb Poker

Hmm I have to admit interesting sketch. I was a little lost on it since I dont really watch all of the poker shows that have been coming out lately. The most time I ever spent watching Poker was seeing the movie Rounders. I cant believe we had another Geico joke, gotta cut back on that. I will give you points up though for the Nolan Ryan joke though. Considering I didnt really know what was being parodied not too bad of a sketch.

Cortatrim
"The fingers you have used to dial are too fat."

Ah yet another weightloss sketch with horrifying side effects and questionable results. While I didnt laugh my ass off it was still pretty funny, I liked the "half the half the half" line that was clever. Good sketch

Weekend Update- Hmm another heavily political Update that I didnt understand because I get all of my news from the daily show and conan obrien comedy sketches. From what I could understand though it seemed pretty funny. The brushing guys showing up was good, should have had the pepto bismol guys doing their dance stuff too. As for my jokes, they were okay, I should have had the Dundee joke cut that one in retrospect for me sucked. Overall nice update, the parts I could understand

Nutter
"Abortions for all! "BOO!" "Okay Abortions for none! "BOO!" "Very well abortions for some, miniature flags for everybody!" "YEAH!"

Easily the most original sketch of the week. While we have always thought our political leaders were kind of kooky what if they were completely nuts and out comes this sketch. I really liked the "Let our our and voice and voices be heard" The only down side was the end where you missed out on telling a great Uranus joke, thats right I have the sense of a humor of an 8 year old. Good work

Honesty
"Without a Mayor Quimby our town would really stink, we wouldnt have our tire yard or misized roller rink, we wouldnt have our gallows or shiny derby track, its not the mayor's fault that the stadium collapsed!"

Well I wrote this one so I wont comment too much on it. Basically this is a parody of a radio ad that was run for a local politician. The ad just had a guy shouting in a booming voice about the horrible things their opponent had done. For me it completely ruined the credibility of the candidate. Cant any politicians just talk about what they are going to do rather than pooping about what their opponents have done. Well thats a rant for another time...

Rick James

This was a nice thing and had this been an actual show this sketch probably would have made it in. Very classy move

Summer is over

"School's out for summer!"

I gotta give this writer credit just for putting an original song in a sketch. I have to honestly say though that it was a bit jumbled and I had a bit of a time following along with it. It was cool though

Well thats the end of that review, stay tuned later this week for Chapter 3 in my ongoing online book live from snlyou.jt.org its Saturday Night You, the absolute latest this will be showing up is Tuesday. Have a great week everyone and dont forget all movies made by carrot top are an afront to God

Jack
