actually the monologue isn't a spin on boom boomer (although I can see why you'd think that and was one of my worries when writing it.) It's actually based on a story I heard about these guys who made up a game as a joke to play on their friend. Every time the friend would try to play they would change the rules so that the friend would always be wrong no matter how hard he tried. About a year later they confessed the game was all a fraud. I considered going this route and confessing that the game was just a hazing ritual but I decided it'd be more fun to possibly kill a cast member - and tribute my favorite men of part of all time: the monty pythons.
