Stewie has a nice "Titanic" is over the hill rant. Ah Kate...what on earth are you doing worth while right now?

Now I want to provide the latest Ashlee Update and my own personal, non important thoughts.

1) The reason she had the fake vocal/backup vocal is because she has severe acid reflux and it damages her vocal chords making her inable to sing. I have a friend who had the same condition and it is real (although it sounds dumb - oh I can't sing...I had pizza.) Basically the acid comes up and eats away at her vocal chords and she sings in a way that's really harsh to her vocal chords and it can cause a condition which permanently damages her range and sound; for a girl who wants a singing career (because...who honestly watched her on 7th heaven? I didn't even know she was an actress) it's a really serious thing and based on her doctor's advice she decided to fake sing.
2) She's 19, which is older than I thought. I was going to say...most artists don't sit down with their managers

talk. I think she was terrified and embarrassed and didn't know what to do. Personally I think she should have performed the same song twice and pretended it was totally normal. But she freaked.
I doubt Lorne wanted to kill her, he probably swore, then laughed at her, and tried to comfort her later. And when she left laughed at her some more. I think the cast could make fun of her, but could just as easily not make fun of her. It's huge right now... because she just did a Lucky Interview where she talked about how she hated lip syncing and would never do it.

So there you have it...she lip sanc because her voice was dying. She might get made fun of, but they could also feel really bad for her and overlook it. I kind of hope Eminem does tease though...like he starts his second song with a track..."oh no...it's the same song? is it? wow..I never noticed, my songs all sound the same." and continue with second song of choice.
