in general, tedious, boring, drawn out, and overdone because it's easily written off as "current". The best political comedy has more to do with current events, making it topical, not character driven comedy. Bush or Kerry, when something funny happens it can be funny. Overdoing a character because he's president somehow garauntees a sketch at least every other show, but that doesn't mean that there's a better pool of material based on the person. What maters is if there is inspiring stuff happening.
