On a complete side note: How are things? How is school?

WELL, THINGS ARE PRETTY HARRIED RIGHT NOW FOR ME. MY MASTER'S THESIS IS LOOMING, MY GRA WORK IS GETTING HARDER (ONE OF MY CO-WORKERS/COLLEAGUES GOT PREGNANT, AND AS IT TURNS OUT, SHE LEFT A TON OF F-ING WORK THAT SHE JUST PLAIN OL' NEGLECTED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, SO I'M DOING THAT, TOO, MUCH LESS THE STUFF THAT SHE'S NOT DOING NOW, WHILE TRYING TO FINISH UP MY STUFF), AND FINALS ARE BEATING ABOUT MY BROW. IN ADDITION, I'VE BEEN GOING OUT ON DATES HERE LATELY (I'M ON A HOT STREAK). ALL OF THIS, EVEN THE LATTER, PLUS MUCH MORE THAT I'M FORGETTING, HAS MADE ME A GIANT BALL OF STRESS THAT CAN'T BE AS FUNNY AS IT SHOULD BE. OH, WELL...IT'LL PASS.

I�ve noticed these past two weeks kind of a slump in some aspects of your sketches which you�re usually awesome at, ie the structure thing earlier this episode.

WELL, IT'S POSSIBLE I'M IN A SLUMP OF SORTS. YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER, BEVAN DID LIKE THE BIT, SO IT'S KIND OF YOUR OPINION. HOWEVER, I HAPPEN TO AGREE WITH YOUR COMMENTS. I GUESS THAT'S WHY IT'S COOL TO HAVE WRITERS AROUND TO HELP YOU OUT IF YOU'RE WRITING A REAL SHOW (DOESN'T DO TOO MUCH GOOD FOR THE SNL'ERS AT THE MOMENT!). "NEGATIVE CONNOTATIONS" JUST HAPPENS TO BE QUITE AN OLD PIECE...I THINK I WROTE IT IN OCTOBER, SO IT MAY NOT REFLECT MY IMPROVEMENT OVER THE LAST SEVERAL MONTHS.

This season you brought some of my favorite pieces (ie The Tape from the Baldwin episode.) I just wanted to say that whatever�s up you�ve got talent, and you�re appreciated...

IN TURN, I APPRECIATE YOUR COMMENTS HERE. I GUESS IT JUST HELPS TO HEAR IT EVERY NOW AND THEN. "THE TAPE" IS DEF. ONE OF MY FAVORITES...I HAD SO MUCH FUN WRITING THAT ONE.

I was wondering if things were okay because usually you don�t have these sort of, in my opinion, issues in your work.

WELL, AGAIN, I AM KINDA STRESSED. IT MAY NOT HELP THAT I'VE BEEN POSTING OLDER PIECES WHICH AREN'T GETTING THE USUAL REVISIONS THAT MOST OF MY OLDER WORKS GET WHEN I POST THEM IN MORE CURRENT SHOWS...AND ALSO, SOME OF THE NEWER BITS, LIKE "SHOPPING W/ BABY", MAY NOT BE UP TO PAR W/ THE SKETCHES I'VE TOOK MORE TIME TO WRITE IN THE PAST.

In essence, nothing's wrong, per se, but it's just been rough these past several weeks...really rough. Truly too much stress for a dude to handle and still write/revise sketches, go to chats, etc. Thanks for the concern, though. :)
