It does have a theme, although a somewhat obscure one. It's called "All in the Timing" because all of the plays have something to do with time, or messing with time...in the case of Death of Trotsky and Sure Thing, time is rewinded repeatedly and the scenario plays out in a different way. Words, Words, Words is based on the saying that an infinite number of monkeys with little typewriters with an infinite amount of <i>time</i>...etc.
