I think the first thing you have to remember is that this is a comedy sketch, so the fact that they're doing this to her as some sort of sick joke is funny (at least to me)...as if this is the way they conduct themselves at a real high school. It's pretty off the wall, and can be taken as offensive, so it doesn't suprise me at all that it would rub some the wrong way. This kind of risk-taking is what SNL currently avoids at all costs, so I'm rebelling.

However, on the flip-side, yes your interpretation is correct...as Hillary had hinted, this is a satire of the way women are treated, espec. in terms of the sexual "double-standard". I hate the double standard...which basically goes something like this: every guy wants to have sex with girls they're attracted to, but if they find out a girl sleeps with guys b/c she's attracted to them, then she's a slut. Similarly, they may want women to "give it up" to get ahead, but when she concedes, she's a slut who "gave it up" to get ahead. I mean, what if a guy is asked to do something sexual to a woman in a position of power? Is he suddenly a slut in MOST people's eyes? Likely not...so, in a way, this is a not-so-subtle, yet very subtle, satire of the sexual double-standard. I usually always use satirization in my sketches, but try my damndest to focus on the absurdities and/or dangerousness (i.e., the funny) as opposed to the "hidden" message.

I'm very liberal and political and a closet feminist.
