Here is where all Weyrlings are to come to train their dragons. If your dragon is a dragonet, it can be trained to fly, and if it's a weyrling, it can be trained to go between. Each Weyr will have it's own WeyrlingMaster, whom all young riders obey. Check the Riders page of your respective Weyr to see what age your dragonet is! Weyrlings also care for their dragons here, but once fully grown and trained, they move into the Perches.

  • ((Okay, okay, exams are over now and I'm alive)) -- Weyrlingmaster R'kan and Brown Sokorth, 03:02:22 11/22/01 Thu
    R'kan, Piryth is attempting to fly with Raen.
    "What?! Get them down here, Now!"

    R'kan mounts Sokorth, and they fly into the Weyrling Barracks. Backwinging with powerful sweeps, Sokorth lands and R'kan dismounts.

    Sokorth rears up to his impressive full height, bugling angrily at Raen and Piryth to land. His eyes whirl red, angry at the weyrling. R'kan is no less angry, but waits until they have landed before delivering a scathing reprimand.

    "What did you think you were doing? Flying without proper training is dangerous! Now take off that gear and listen carefully if you want to learn anything. And take one MORE step out of line..."

    He turns and cups his hands around his mouth, calling to all riders to come for training. Sokorth backs that up for the dragons, eyes slowing down. He settles into a relaxed stance, watching and ready to relay instuctions that need reinforcing.

    Hopefully nothing more will happen
    "Wishful thinking, Sokorth, but we can hope."

    The small-ish green lands, off to one side. "Here we are." After unstrapping herself, Alara jumps from her perch atop Aghath's neck. Reaching up, she offers a hand to Jenna.

    She enters silently, her hand on K'ndelek's arm, and scans the crowd silently for a someone, anyone, who looked like him. A new queenrider, he had said. Her jade green eyes skimming swiftly over the hatchlings, she searches for a glint of gold, but finds none. K'ndelek's sister's name was Rinali, apparently.

    Brushing a strand of hair out of her face, bleached blond by the sun at Southern, she sighs slightly. Where could she be? Maybe at the table, or simply in another section of the barracks...

    Ookay, bu' well..Raen come on!
    "Piryth, m'sweet your TO YOUNG!"
    Piryth stopped bouncing, and looked up at all the Dragons bigger then herself, and then glared smugly at her rider They're all to big to be allowed.
    "Your gonna be as big as all the other greens."
    Well, I'm not growing, Raen.
    "You hatched a week ago fr goodness shake, and you already want to run things."
    I could out fly any of these Dragons.
    Raen sighed, looking down at her best friend, her shoulders slumped, "Piryth, please, chill, your only young once."
    I wanna be big, and I wanna be on the first wing, fighting Thread!
    "Me too, but Piry-."
    Raen if we don't act now all the good positions will be gone!
    "There will be pleanty-."
    There are lots of Dragons, Raen.
    "Piryth-."
    We have to start training ow.
    "We can't."
    Who says?
    "There are people and Dragons way above us, they tell u what to do."
    I don't want to be told what to do.
    Raen sunk down on a rock, as Piryth climbed rocks and jumped from them trying to fly, wishing someone could knock some sense into her darling Piryth, because she surely couldn't..

    Xanth led the way in, eyes swirled a normal docile blue green, I am strong. He remarked before noting J'xom was once more was lost once mre in his own past. J'xom... J'xom's head shot up, Yes?

    J'xom blinked a few times, listening with a dull interest to any conversation he could pick up. Now more then anything he wanted to fly, even if it was only for a second... Xanth commented on his rider's thoughts, I want to fly too but you told me I am too young... J'xom shrugged, imagining himself on Xanth, just a brown speck in the sky, Well, I said that awhile ago... Your older and stronger now. Xanth replied hastily, You mean to say I wasn't strong before? He said unfurling his wings, J'xom shook his head, I never said that, I only said that you were too young before. Xanth's eyes swirled slowly a docile blue-green, Then I am strong enough to fly now? J'xom shrugged, Sure why not? Xanth's eyes swirled faster, I am hungry again. He complained mildly and led J'xom back to the Bowl...

    +Alli watched the four, still leaning against the green, one eye closed. The bleach blonde hair fell over her eyes, giving her the appearance of being asleep as she watched the scene play out. Delth's pale blue orbs opened to slits, watching in much the same way who rider was. The tanned faces and blonde hair gave the impression that they were from Southern Weyr, though they could have been from Honshu, except that was a new Weyrhold, not many adult riders there yet. Delth stretched out her neck and gave a wide yawn, flashing the still forming fangs that would be used for crunching firestone. Shifting her wings slightly, the green, grabbed her rider by the shirt and lifted her off her leg, moving her to the floor. The femme got up and brushed off her clothes, hiding a smirk+
    What was that for?
    [My leg feels funny]
    Probably fell asleep
    [Yes, I did]
    No, you're leg.
    [Alright...]
    Nevermind
    [The new people over there, they're looking for Rinali, but Lilith's asleep]

  • Interesting Turn of Events. -- J'xom - Xanth, 22:28:34 11/16/01 Fri
    J'xom watched them, form the doorway of his small room. Xanth not far away, J'xom, you really like listening don't you? J'xom nodded, Yeah, I guess I do, I learn more things then alot of people...Like how different Zephyth was now a days, and how surprised Rinali looked when she had read the note that flit delivered, and these newcomers... who were they? From some other Weyr obivously, one, he could tell, probably was looking for Rinali and Lilith, or were they? He couldn't tell yet... Blond hair, they were probably from the Southern... He let his thoughts wander even more. Xanth listened in on J'xom's thoughts then commented, You do listen much, I can tell. J'xom nodded, smiling slightly, his eyes reflecting nothing now. Xanth's eyes whirled slowly, his normally docile looking replacing that of vague interest in his rider's thoughts. J'xom's smile gradually faded, and once more he, J'xom, was lost in an endless pool of thoughts.

    +Allirea walked back into the Barracks, finding Delth already back and asleep. Noticing that All'ndar had found his room clean, she kept her smirk to herself, feeling a slight sense of pride in her cleanliness. The snow hued eyes turned toward the dragon, who was napping out of the room, finding more sun in that area. Scratching the emerald eye ridges, she sat herself down next to her impressed, watching the other Weyrlings mill about, however one caught her eye...+

    At the same time

    ~Koryth and Keiko finally made their way to the Barracks after having the dragon examine close to everything on the way there, wanting to know what it was, was it dangerous, and asking all sorts of all questions that brought a smile across the femme's features, chestnut brown hair pulled into a ponytail. Quickly choosing a bunk, she threw down her things, allowing Koryth to investigate the room as she walked into the main area, seeing that Rinali, K'nicki and K'lashtai (sp?) were already there. Turning she saw Alli, the deeper blue-green hues locking on the paler orbs, feeling a sense that she knew that girl. Shrugging it off, she walked back into the room to arrange her belongings.~

    +Allirea shook her head slightly as Delth watched her rider, iridescent hues tinging a slight orange+
    [Who was that]
    ...I don't remember, but I think...no, nevermind..
    [Alright...]
    +The overall sense of distrust to people had come to the surface again as she watched the femme walk back into her room, wary. Did she know that girl? From where? The questions rolled in her mind for a matter of seconds before she shrugged it off, intent on taking a nap before thinking of past relations...+

    +As Delth scouted about the Barracks, Alli set to work on helping All'ndar clean his area. She put the sheets on his bed, folding down the corners and flattening the bal that he had made out of them. Finishing the bed, she looked around at the surrounding mess, sighing.+
    Men, they're all the same
    [How so?]
    Filthy and disorganized
    [How about dragons?]
    I don't know, I'll let that be your department
    [Alright...whatcha doing?]
    Helping All'ndar clean
    [You're being helpful?]
    Okay that wasn't funny
    +Alli tossed a pillow at the green, who promptly snatched it out of the air, giving the draconic grin as she snapped her head to throw it with considerable precision back at the femme...+

    {Sorry about being kinda...er...dead, so to speak. Surprise vacation. No warning, no nothing. Dad came in and said, "Lets go on a vacation!" So I packed hurredly and was half-dragged out of the house before I could tell you. Yah. I feel like I've missed a lot here.}


    -Rinali looked up at Levi, digging in her pocket and coming out with a scrap of meat, offering it to the 'lizard. Another flit popped in: Denshy. And he had a note. Rinali gulped slightly, placing the meat on the ground and holding out a shaking hand to the flit. He dropped onto her hand and clawed away the note. Rinali caught it and carefully unwound it, eyes drawn to the familiar script.-

    Rinali, for I think that is who you are. A bronze flit came to me with pictures of you, the same ones that had been haunting my every night. I wrote this letter, for he would not leave until I did so. If you are my little sister, please write back. I eagerly wait your word. ~K'ndelek, rider of brown Dimath.

    -The letter floated to the floor as she stared into space. Her brother! He still remembered her and thought about her. Could it be? Could Kendelek be Impressed? Well, obviously so, Denshy acknowleged it. She grabbed a sheet and scribbled a few words, tying it Denshy's leg and sending him off again.-
    -Lilith watched Delth, a look of surprise forming on her spoiled features.-

    ~You would...forgive me, Delth? If you could do that, then I should be able to do the same...~
    'That's right, love. Forgive and forget. It's simple. This fight is meaningless'
    ~But...~
    'No buts. Now'
    ~Okay.~
    'I said now'
    ~I forgive you, Delth. I never should have let what you did get to me.~
    'There you go, that wasn't so hard, was it?'
    ~It was extremly hard.~


    -Lilith picked up the bucket and trundled back to Rinali, setting it down andlooking at her rider.-

    ~You were right all along, Rinali. Why?~
    'Because I have more experience in living.'
    ~The way you said that I don't want to experience what you went through.~
    'How right you are.'


    *~*~*~*~*


    -All'ndar continued to lean against the wall, gently stroking Dialith. The bronze grinned happily, soaking up the attention. The boy looked down at the bronze, wondering how he was pair with a sap. But, despite that one fault, Dialith was like him in every way. Well, the bronze still had a lot to learn about smoot talking. But he'd learn. All'ndar looked up in time to see Delth and Lilith, smiling to himself.-

    ~You're awfully smug~
    'I should be'
    ~Why?~
    'I was right'
    ~So?~
    'Nevermind. It's just a nice feeling after being contridicted your whole life.'
    ~Oh yeah, I'd forgotten.~
    'I guess I should take your advice'
    ~It could help~
    'Yeah, it probably would.'


    -All'ndar narrowed his eyes slightly, barely able to make out Alii and Delth from his spot. He let his mind mull over a few words, finally speaking them quietly.-
    "That was nicely done, Delth. I congradulate you on your braveness. And you, Alli, must have had a part in that, so I will congradulate you also."
    -His eyes slitted further, obscuring his vision, but letting him see any motion while appearing to sleep lightly.-

    Zephyth's orbs slowed their whirling and turned to Xanth. {I'm sorry, Xanth. I forgot about browns. They're strong, too. Stronger then greens and blues.} He stopped, sensing the anger coming from J'dan in their mental link. {What is wrong?} Nothing, Zephyth, just calm down... {But something's the matter with you!} Just Alli - but if you calm down everything will all be fine! Zephyth's eyes calmed down yet again, taking on their normal shade as he looked around at all the dragons there - Delth and Lilith off on seperate sides, him standing closer to Lilith, he hadn't noticed before that all the others had gathered - Xanth, Runith, Dialith. {What did I do?} Zephyth asked J'dan in a quiet mental tone, and J'dan shook his head. Besides insulting every dragon in the Weyr except for Lilith? Nothing, Zephyth. {I did?} Yes, Zephyth.} J'dan said patiently, watching as Zephyth unfurled his wings nervously. {She was being mean to Lilith...} But you didn't have to insult everybody else, Zeph! {I suppose not.} Zephyth gazed around once more. {I'm sorry, Dialith and Xanth. You, too, Runith. And... Delth 'n' Alli.} He said, saying the last two names with only a hint of red to his eyes. {I was just mad when Lilith got mad. I didn't mean to be mean to everyone...} Zephyth finished - rather lamely...

    Raen walks in, Piryth walking at her side. Piryth's firey eyes canned over everything in sight, flappingher emerald wings, as if she could fly.

    "Silly, your a hatchling you can't fly yet!"

    "Your to young, Piryth, so calm down, you'll have plenty of time to grow up."

    ::Whata bou' Thread, what then?::

    "Just calm down Piry, you'll have to wait till your older."

    ::Why?::

    Raen sighs, "Because, Piry, just because I dunno."

    ::Why?::

    Raen shook her head, unable to explain it to the firey young hatchling. "Um, Piry, we'll learn to fly when we're allowed to O.K? Right now, let's look for some people to meet."

    ::Oh..alrigh':: She flapped her emerald wings in one more attempt, but then stopped, ans Raen gave her a glare of warning. Piryth grinned, and scampered around Raen's feet as she walked..

    {I'm very sensitive about my writing, greenwriter, and I'm not taking that comment lightly. It's not like I mean to be so "unenthusiastic", but you try being active in a few RPGs while having to work on four projects for school. S'not the easiest thing in the world. But since you DID make that comment, it's not passing unnoticed. You arn't the onl one ticked, Alli. Is this any better for you?}


    -All'ndar walked in, a mug of klah clutched protectivly between his hands. He bites back as yawn as he makes his way over to his dragon. The bronze turned his head and acknowleged his rider.-

    ~Hello, All'ndar. You just missed the show.~
    'The show? I didn't know about anything like that'
    ~It was a little unexpected, but you still missed it over a silly cup of     klah~
    'I needed it, thankyou very much. Now, tell me what happened.'
    ~Oh, Delth flew.~
    'Delth FLEW? As in, flying?'
    ~Yes, that's what I mean.~
    'But, the WeyrlingMaster hasn't said we could'
    ~She's old enough~
    'But without the proper instructions...'
    ~Oh give it a rest and drink.~


    -All'ndar mutters something about independent dragons and continues to sip on his klah. The bronze turned his attention back to Delth, watching her. He wraps his tail around his rider's heel and starts to move in their direction. All'ndar blinks in surprise, but other than that he just clings to his cup. Dialith stops and looks over his shoulder at him sheepishly.-

    ~Sorry, All'ndar...~
    'All you had to do was ask'
    ~Okay...can we go over there? I wanna know what it was like~
    'Sure, but don't get any ideas.'


    -He unwrapped the bronze tail and stood up. He dusted himself off as he walked over to Allirea and Delth, Dialith trailing behind him. He nods to both of them-
    "Pretty fancy flying for a hatchling, Delth. I'd say you did a nice job."

    ~It looked like fun. Was it?~


    -All'ndar glanced at his dragon. The bronze looked very much like an over-excited puppy. He shook his head, it was almost too sorry to look at him. The poor bronze wanted nothing more than to fly, but was a little too....what's a good word for it....sloppy in his acting. He'd have to teach that dragon to hide his emotions. Silly things they are, those emotions.-

    ~*~*~*~*~*~*~



    -The JuniorWeyrwoman wakened to find herself staring at an ant crawling across the ground. Rinali pushed herself up off the ground, noticing how dirty she was. How in the world did she get here? She had been leaning against Lilith when she--Lilith! The girl turned to search out the gold. She found her on her hind claws, staring intently at Delth and Allirea. Rinali stood and walked over to her, sliding her arms around the hatchling's middle.-

    'Lilith? Why did you throw me off like that?'
    ~Delth...~


    -Rinali cringed at Lilith's tone, wondering what could make Lilith hate anyone so much.-

    'What did she do?'
    ~She flew...~
    'She did?'
    ~Yes. Right in front of me.~
    '....'
    ~The little green thinks she's better than me, does she? Well, two can play at that game!~


    -The gold spred her wings, causing Rinali to lose her grip on her lifemate. The wedged head turned, red eyes swirling angrily, warning Rinali to stay away. The Junior stifled a gasp, realizing in fear what Lilith was about to do.-

    'Lilith! No!'
    ~Don't stop me! I have to show the green that I'm running this place, not her.~
    'But you'll only make a fool out of yourself if you try to fly now, you're not old enough or ready.'
    ~I am, too!~
    'Lilith, please. Don't fly. For me?'
    ~But...~


    -Lilith stood, wings still outstretched, looking between Rinali and Delth in confusion. Rinali took the opportunity and closed the distance between her and her dragon, climbing on the gold's knee and soothing her. Her hands moved slowly in circles on the dragon's middle as she whispered quiet words of help to Lilith. Soon, Lilith curled up dejectedly, sending a final hurt glance at Delth. Rinali started to oil the gold until she was sure the dragon was safely sleeping. She put away the oil then sat by her dragon, blinking back tears. That had been close. She could have lost Lilith to some foolish thought. The prideful gold wasn't ready yet, and wouldn't be able to do anything. Delth had only added wood to the fire of Lilith's desire to be the best. Rinali shook her head. A prideful dragon for a meek girl. It didn't seem to fit. But then again, she never seemed to fit with anything. She had always been Rinali the Unclean. Cast away from every home she could've had, rejected as an outcast. Why? All because her father strangled her sister. She had gone mute, but managed to live. Her older brother had taken her sister away to a Weyr with promises to return. But he never did. So Rinali left, searching for the same fate. Anything to get away from her old life. She had found Xandu, but not her brother. And what was so bad about it was that she couldn't remember his name. But she would find him. Rinali let the last wisps of thought drift fomr her as she summoned Denshy. The bronze popped in from between with a chirrup, landing on her shoulder. The girl rubbed his eye ridge with one hand while sending him a picture. The little 'lizard 'rupped again and blinked out to go find the person. Rinali sighed. Maybe now she could finally rest in peace...-

    OOC: I am still alive, it's just I'd prefer for more dragets to have hatched and matured before I start training. Kinda how it's done in the books. So encourage your friends to come and impress, because the sooner all the clutch has hatched tthe sooner training shall begin. And about the Junior Queen/not long posting stuff - It depends on how old the person is and their time allowance too. I try to do long posts - sometimes it just doesn't work out due to school. But that's enough of my ramble for today...Just thought I'd let you know hwat's hapening so no more of you try flying by yourself.

    She blinked between in one easy, swift movement... At that same exact moment, T'ro screamed, painfully, suddenly clawing at his throat, eyes rolled back into his head...
    Because of Arrogance and carelessness... Santh had gone between forever....

    T'ro's agonizing screams could chill the very soul... Scraping at his neck, clawing at it, clutching it, He would join his dragon... He would. Falling to his knees tears still falling, still clawing at his neck, " Take me with you!" He hissed still clawing at his neck, leaving deep gashess where he had torn flesh...Blood trickled down his throat, he was beyond hearing, but not beyond the pain..." Santh!" He screamed, digging his nails deep once more into his neck...~

    [They're impatient to begin training, the Weyrlingmaster has yet to arrive.] You could fly, you're older than Lilith, and sleeker as well. +Delth gave a draconic smirk, proud of her rider's silent boasting, only heard by her. She was out of their sleeping area, watching the other dragons with mild interest, opalescent blue hues tinging an orange hue, accepting a challenge. She flared the leathery wings, dry and recently oiled wings as Alli stood, shocked at what the dragon was about to do+ Delth!! [I'm going to fly, my wings are strong enough, trust me.] +The green started a short run before launching herself into the air, flapping her wings to catch a heawind. The heat rose up under theemerald pinions and she was soon airborne, coming to perch on the rafters of the high walled building, and almost smug expression crossing her features as she sat like she was the Gold, running the entire show.+ [I did it before anybody else, even Lilith.     ((I'm sorry for my lack of good sportsmanship in doing this first instead of having our resident Queen be leader and best of all and all that, but I find it rather sad that some of the resident brown/green riders seem to be outposting Rinali and Lilith. Yes, I hold people in contempt when they recieve a high position and lack the enthusiasm to post long messages. I respect the Junior Weyrwomen like the Junior Weyrwoman at Ista. Those are some long posts! Jeez!! And they're about random things that hapen day to day. Sorry Im ranting, Im just kinda ticked today..))

    The brown, listening to the other dragons conversations raises it's head. Waking it's rider, What is it, Xanth? Xanth watched his lifemate carefully before replying, I am slightly younger then them but I am strong, I want to fly too. He said defiantly. J'xom smiled, Let me oil your hide first before we go soaring off any cliff, ok? He commented, noting the condition of Xanth's hide, Does it itch? Xanth thought for a moment then answered, Yes,it does... but it wouldn't if I was flying. Xanth said hopefully. J'xom grinned, scratching Xanth's eye ridges, We will fly, just be patient. He mumbled under his breath, to more himself then his impressed.

    +Delth sidled into the Barracks, blue orbs whirling slowly as she looked around, finding nothing of interest. Allirea followed close behind her, more refreshed than she was, though, her head was still sore. [Are you okay?] Yeah, just clumsy..[Okay..Where's the oil?] +The green's nose sniffed the girl's bag, nosing her and nearly pushing her into the wall. [Oops, sorry] Rubbing her head, she threw her bag on her bed, sifting through her stuff until she came across the bottle. She used the rest, muttering under her breath about having to get some more soon, and finished with the green. She gave her high bugle, lower than the firelizards but not as loud or low a the baritone of the adult dragons. She gave a small smile before tending to herself. She brushed the short blonde locks,putting a headband in to keep stray strands from falling in her eyes when she trained. Pulling on the clean blue sleevless shirt, she looked around, wondering what to do now...+

    Coming back from the Table, J'dan set down a tray with mugs of steaming klah in them, and then turned to Zephyth. "Zeph? Can you wake 'em all up?" Zephyth's eyes began to whirl. {Only if you 'member that I'm Zephyth. Not Zeph.} The hatchling said to his life-mate. {Wake up now!} Zephyth declared loudly to all of the other dragons in the barracks, eyes whirling even faster as he slowly walked over to J'dan happily, waiting for them all to wake up...

    +The femme lagged behind in arriving at the Barracks, yawning slightly; the entire day had been quite exciting, and Delth was proving to be much more energetic than she had initaially suspected. The small green trotted in boldly, exploring and running as fast as the silly gait would take her. THe blue orbs swirled slower as the exhaustion caught up with her, and she turned back to her lifemate.+ [I'm tired....where should we sleep?] Pick a place, I don't care.[Alright!] +the emerald hide gleamed in the sunlight as she walked to a bunk close to where the others were asleep. She turned to her rider, promptly yawning in her face before stating plainly+ [I itch.] Okay, okay, I'll oil you then you can asleep. +Retrieving the small bottle she had retrieved, she poured some on the dragon, rubbing over the neck ridges and down the green's legs until the jade pelt gleamed and Delth felt that she wouldn't itch for a while. Delth walked to the couch, instantly falling onto it. Alli chose to lay with the dragon, leaning up against the green and instantly falling asleep...+

    J'xom helping Xanth along, Xanth, eyelids drooping, eyed the slightly older hatchlings, I am...Xanth... He mumbled before curling up onto a 'couch' and drifting off to sleep. J'xom smiled, brusting with pride for his impressed and after finding some oil began to rub it on Xanth's hide, until he was satisfied. Then he looked to the other riders, " Guess that leaves me? Well I'm..." He yawns, and without another word curls up on a cot next to his dragon and falls asleep.

    §The male walked in behind the broze, eyes flickering around the area. He takes in the six faces, blinking slowly after recording each into his memory. He didn't know their names, but he may soon enough. The little bronze nudged him, sending All'ndar off-balance.§

    ~Sorry, rider. I didn't know I was so strong.~
    'I didn't know you were that strong either. For such a little guy you sure pack a punch! So, what do I do now?'
    ~Oil and bathe. Then nap.~


    §All'ndar nods, grabbing the oil he had picked up in the Perches. He thinks, then puts it down, leading Dialith to a water puddle. Dialith grumbles, but wades in, splashing around. All'ndar grunts, then wades in after him, rubbing the remaining shards off. When the bronze had had enough, he stumbled out, shaking much like a canine. The rider grinned and set upon drying and oiling him. Finally satisifed, Dialith crooned at his rider and curled up in a blissful slumber. All'ndar grinned and wiped the beads of sweat from his brow. He waited until he caught his breath, then whistled sharply. Two flits popped in, Mejin and Amnis Ymbir. He tol them to watch after the lug while he grabbed a bite to eat. They chirped at him and settled down on Dialith, falling asleep as well. All'ndar just shook his head and walked out§

    +The brown trundled in first, gently pushing his rider ahead of him. Poor thing had been shockedat the sudden rush of feelings. Dalleth shoved him onto a bed and pulled the covers up to his chin.+ ~+Sleep tight, rider-of-mine.+~ +The brown chuckled quietly,curling up into a ball.+

    He helps Illith in, waiting for him to settle on a rock couch, and grabs some oil, rubbing Illith's hide until it shone. J'her winced as his bare foot struck a rock. Illith raised his head, You are in pain? Obivously distressed. J'her shook his head, assuring that he was fine and continued his oiling until Illith drifted off to sleep. Then curling up on a cot, fell asleep as well.

THe words made L'mech smile before sitting down on his cot to think about the days events.*

    Greyth'rn walks in, Lieth trailing behind him, grabbing some more oil he waited until Lieth laid down until oiling his dragon's hide, until it glistened. It's starting to itch. Lieth commented and slowly drifted off to sleep. Greyth'rn smiled and patted Lieth's side before standing and walking slowly off.

    J'dan, still helping Zephyth support himself upright, managed to stumble in. Zephyth made it to one of the stone couches for the dragons, and waited there while J'dan went to get some oil to go over Zephyth's hide. J'dan came back a few minutes later, spreading the oil over his hands, carefully going over the newly hatched bronze, getting off the last pieces of the eggshell. Zephyth fell asleep half way through, and the bleary eyed J'dan put the oil away, and then found a cot, falling asleep himself, still smiling as he did...
