Using a towel from under the sink, he dried off his face, having just splashed himself with cold water. He felt more awake, more refreshed, and more able to dead with the day. He was sure the crew would begin to pop up soon, and while he knew it would be hard to face all those old memories, all of those old heartaches...it was business that needed to be attended to.
Suddenly, he could hear Angelina's raised voice, followed by the low tones of a male. Then, seconds later, all the voices sounded closer...and distinct. It was Nancy and Memphis...of that he was sure. The third voice....could it be....Sway? He opened the door and exited, only to find himself walking into what seemed to be a heated tongue lashing. Dark eyes shifted from Angelina to Nancy, dark eyes inquiring. What had Memphis done? He'd come in at the tale end of things and had missed most of Sway's lecture. He put his hand on the other woman's shoulder. "Sway...calm down. It's alright." He said softly, then looked to Memphis and Nancy. "It's been a long time." He could see the strain on Memphis' face, and the red eyed way in which Nancy stared. "It's good to see you." And it was, he meant that. Good to see each of them, even if the circumstances left much to be desired.

He stepped into the bar, calloused hand holding the soft one of the slender, beautiful blonde behind him. He was glad that he was facing the reentry of this familiar spot with Laurie...it somehow made it easier. Everything done with her was easier. He cast her a small smile as the neon green light surrounded them.
He felt like he was stepping straight into the past when they crossed the threshold. Not much hand changed in the way of decor or placement of furniture. It seems the place was just how they'd left it...a decade ago. He looked to Laurie. "It...feels so crazy being back here." His voice was nearly awestruck. Then he noted the group at the end of the bar, and it felt like his stomach did a somersault. It was just like the past...for there sat Sway, Angelina, Stan, Memphis, and Nancy...just like old times. "Oh my God. Would you look at that?" He murmured to her in awe. He led her towards them, though his steps slowed as he heard the tension filled voices. It didn't seem like this meeting was too joyful. "What's going on?" He broke in, brows furrowed. He hadn't thought the reunion would be overly joyful, but he didn't suspect people would be fighting, either.
