It takes courage, confidence, passion and ambition to participate in a pageant. I amend all the contestants in last years Canada Galaxy pageant. Natalie Lapointe was not thought of as a strong contender in the beginning. She was criticized for being too skinny and was noted for her non-existent appetite during compeition week. However, she came out on top, without expecting to. Any girl could come out of the woodwork, first time in a pageant, give it her all, and WIN. You don't know these women personally, you don't know their history and goals or ambitions. Any girl can give it her all and win a pageant. The confidence and positive attitude has to be there.
