How does everyone feel about competing again, even after you've already won a national title? She is quite the contender I must say. I also read an article written by Brent Colley, a Toronto man who writes about people of success. In March he wrote an article about a Halifax based woman, Brittany Blake, who also seems to be in the running this year for the Miss Canada Galaxy crown. This is the online article, I havent been able to find much for pictures as of yet, theres a note at the bottom of the article that she has a facebook page. I wonder what the outcome of this pageant will be this year. I wasnt overly impressed with last years pageant girls, a part from Natalie LaPointe. Cuz they are very sue happy and wont think twice about chasing ppl down with lawyers. Miss North America is an actual pageant in the USA, and since the galaxy pageant is in the usa...they need to be careful. It is also registered in Canada. She may have to add Galaxy to the title if she hasnt already done so, although we can see from the Shannon mess that doesnt much matter heh. Galaxy is a small pageant in the USA and even smaller in Canada. Its a whole lot of sparkle with very little substance really. Just like the 'Miss International' system that is based in the USA. They both remind me of a kiddie pageant but for older girls. Alisa's website does show she is Teen North America Galaxy however, she is not listed on the international website so as far as anyone knows, is not competing. As for nationals, we'll have to wait until they are all up but as of today, I understand that Alisa is not competing - but again, there is still 1 month left before the entry deadline so who knows...
