If someone works hard, improves their dancing, and their results reflect this improvement (i.e. move up the ranks), then I would safely say the judging ISN'T rigged. BUT, the argument at hand, is that certain schools and dancers use social media as a convenient (more akin to deliberate) means of promoting themselves (see more)

By all means celebrate the achievements of the dancers but when the achievements are re-hashed weeks later, it's a joke. It's an interesting psyche when the perpetrators cry innocence saying they're only posting due to 'excitement' or 'advertising' the school, but the influx of their posts increase ten-fold in the lead-up to a major championship. You can't regulate a personal account, but I thought CLRG set guidelines for social media in terms of schools? Unfortunately there are some which blatantly disregard the guidelines all in the hope of getting faces out there. My take is that it could actually backfire on the school/dancer. If I was a judge I'd be more inclined to watch the other dancers, rather than pander to the arrogance of past 'champions'...
