Subject: You are actually better off using two pieces of thick cardboard. Fold dress over, wrap in plastic/garbage bag and tape up, sandwich between cardboard and tape up, lots of tape! Cut the cardboard only slightly larger than folded dress to keep the size and weight down = less postage costs. You can also buy flat picture packing boxes at storage places, just make sure to tape dress to inside of box so it doesn't move around in transit.
