Haha I promise you I'm not a teacher. I guess I would feel comfortable asking my teacher about transfers if I was moving interstate, defs not local! But as I said, I am pretty sure the rule is no matter where you transfer, you serve a ban. I think it is only if you have not danced for 12 months that you can join another school and not serve the ban which is stupid because it's supposed to be "re-styling" not a ban as such and after a year of not dancing, the dancer would surely have more to re-learn than a currently competiting dancer, but what do us paretns know, right?
