Doesn't sound like inclusiveness and kindness to me. I hope your dancer gets the place they deserve from hard work, not because people haven't been able to come. What rules shall we break next for the sake of kindness? Can I dance in a different age group? Be a special case to dance the opposite syllabus? Usually when rules aren’t followed, consequences happen. In this situation, your child doesn’t dance because you failed to get organised. I don’t think AIDA would have given people a week to submit their entries, stuff happens yes but it’s got nothing to do with not being ‘inclusive’.
