Subject: Would have to agree, the fact that the "natural" arms are also choreographed to be all the same, makes it look robotic, so may as well just have non moving, non distracting arms. Have also only seen clips, so maybe in the context of the show, it's not as bad.
In reply to: Reluctant audience member 's message, "SHOW DANCING ANNOYING ARM MOVEMENTS - I have watched numerous clips over the years of A Taste of Ireland. I can not bring myself to go and see the show live because of the cringy, annoying arm movements. Please ditch that crap!" on Thu, Apr 23 2026, 22:11:43"

  • Maybe watch the show in person? It's a fun, energetic and importantly Aussie-grown experience, and the arms are fine. (NT) -- GL, Sat, Apr 25 2026, 19:43:54"
  • It is fun and energetic yes, but excessively over the top. Get that it’s probably a learned or interpreted movement from certain time at LOTD, but doesn’t quite pass for usual ‘stage’ performance. WAY too over the top, read the room. Sorry! (NT) -- Agree with OP, Sun, Apr 26 2026, 1:59:03"
