With rotations, you can still end up with 3-4 adjudicators from same State, resulting in favours for that States’ dancer, as was very obvious at last year Nationals when you looked at results. If judges are to be rotated from floor, they should NOT be given notice of what age group they are judging until that section has been called. They could be on “call” for the day they nominate themselves for judging, and disallow requesting to judge a particular age group. Similar to overseas now where dancer numbers are not released until the section has been marshalled. It’s only fair to all dancers and families who work hard and go to a lot of expense for these competitions. Otherwise numbers will continue to drop as people are losing faith in light of the cheating scandals and unfairness. Be transparent.
