 We went out and began hooking everything up to practice. We were really working hard on this. We were more than ready for this show we were going to put on at the talent show. Even if we only got a certificate, we wanted to do something real nice and real big to look back on and say, “hey, I was apart of that.” I’m kinda glad that Roshay is now the only lead singer. She’s like the hype that gives us the ability to actually want to work harder like a teacher or something. At 3pm, Darius had left going to play basketball at the park again. Mama was totally against the proposition Mr,Luke, the dude that approached Darius last week at the park, about the whole playing ball thing. I mean, we could get cauht and Mama could go to jail and he saying he wouldn’t be held liable. Please, Mama ain’t stupid. She really just wants to kepe him out of trouble. Darius has had enough of trouble already. See, right now he’s at the alternative learning school because his stupid self going to bust some boy’s nose at school and now it’s sent him over to the “bad kids” school. I believe Darius when he says the boy started it, but with all his trouble he had before and being the “troublemaker and jokester” in class I guess they put him in that position to be in trouble. I think basketball is actually his anti-drug and I’m glad that he getting better with this. I blame it on Daddy though. Around 5:00 we took a break making changes to songs. The phone rang. Who could it be?
