In reply to: Angie / Jeff / Gwen 's message, "Re: The Mountain Pass" on 20:36:46 08/23/03 Sat

The golden tiger sighed deeply. He wanted nothing more than to be with his liren. But he knew that both Angie and Gwen were right. For the boys sake, for GWEN'S sake, he and Alexis could not reunite.

::Alexis.:: he called out softly. ::I know how you suffer. I am lost without you. But think of the boy. Think of his lir wasting away without him.::

In the distance Alexis stop. Her heart thudded loudly in her chest, and her breathing was ragged. Behind her she could hear Jeff. He lacked all of the grace of a true cheysuli and showed it in the clumbsy way he tripped through the darkness.

::Monet...::

::No liren. Go back with Jeff and Angie. You must remain strong for Gwen's sake.::

Alexis looked back over her shoulder to where Jeff was just catching up. Crystal eyes narrowed. All this trouble for one silly boy who didn't even know how wonderfully special he was.

"Here I am Jeff. Don't worry." She looked around and then yelled to Angie. "I found us a place to camp Angie. Hurry up."

Again she looked at Jeff and sighed. "Don't ask, okay? It's no big deal."

Monet looked to Gwen. ::She is unhappy. She wants him to know who she trully is. But she will wait awhile longer.::
