With one last sad look at Angie, Alexis sighed deeply and slid into the cave. ::Keep an eye on her Monet. I don't want anything to happen to her.::

The tiger shook his head and snorted. ::Have no fear 'Lexi, I'll guard your friend closely.:: And he slid into a comfortable position to watch the girl and the cave at the same time.

He sensed there was anouther creature nearby, but not the creatures intent. And so, he merely laid and watched Angie, knowing... if she chose... She would speak to him.

The silent paw moved quietly through the darkness. He had to be careful now because he could not chance the tiger catching wind of him. And still he smirked, was he not Nobel Nomis Le'Brandonburg? Dark as night and quiet as a mouse. He would not be seen until he wished it.

He wished it... Now!

Sitting directly above Angie his whiskered face curled into an impish grin and he dropped down in front of the girl. He held up one black tipped paw with its strangely unique thumb, and in purr-fect english said, "Do not fear Angie. I am not here to harm you. Nor have I been sent by any of your enemies."

He paused and turned his black paw back to himself to study each nail. "I am merely curious about you and your..." Again he smirked. "strange... Companions, shall we say."

The stunningly handsome (for a silent paw) feline turned his purple gaze to her once again and shrugged. "What do you say? Feel like talking? I'm all ears." He flicked one blue and black tipped ear at her. "I promise, I won't bite you." he whispered and winked his dark purple eye.

In the shaddows over the cave door the tiger, Monet growled softly. He would not bother with the blue cat just yet. But he wasn't about to let the interloper anywhere near Alexis and Jeff.
