Hi all!
Having lifted out 'Nautibuoy' and settled her on the road trailer for the winter I am pondering wwhat to do about the hydraulics for keel lift. Should pressure be maintained to keep seals lubricated or is it best to release pressure and leave keel fully supported off trailer direct and with hull supported off the two cross members and 4 pads?

Also have been cleaning hull. Mooring is half tide in Chichester harbour and dries out to mud over shingle. Using 2 coats Blakes Tiger Xtra ( eroding)this season I had a 2.5 m2 area where she settles on the mud which had an excellent crop of barnacles and 'tails'. These scaped off fairly easily but black residue is not succumbing to pressure wash or paint scrubbing pad ( the same type as foam backed wash up pad).
The anti foulling is the preferred make for the top end of the harbour with fresh water feed though most boats are bilge keel. Has anyone any thoughts or experience of mud berth so I can improve on this for next season? Note: I prefer eroding type anti foullings in principle as there should be no need to strip back the lot every few years.
Cheers
Paul
