If I am correct, the 240 should be the same as the 250?. My Rigging set up is this.
Pre-bend 4 inches in the middle of the spreader/goosneck.
Rake 18 inches aft.
unsure of the tension as I have no gauge. but the lee ward cap just starts to give with full sail in about a force 2-3. I am still playing with the rake and think I might have over-cooked it by a couple of inches as I am loosing speed to windward. Points well but slow. This might be operator incompitance and not setting the sails right but the weather helm is starting to make itself felt so I think 14-inches rake measured along the boom should be about right. The other thing is- can you tip your rudder stock backwards(Tip will go forwards) in the caseing to give it a bit of "balance" This has a huge effect on Optica and without doing it,It is almost impossible to tack the boat without resorting to body building during the winter lay-ups.
