Yes Tim that sounds like it The trailer has a "J" reg.
and the car a "V" I believe there were several fixed keel models made. I vaguely remember some reference to a swing keel but I am not aware of how many were built, I supose there must have been one. Maybe there was some criticism of the perceived space lost by the vertical keel case. Certainly a Mac 26 looks spacious, but would you own one?
The boatbuilder in me says the Trapper is stronger for less weight with the vertical keel case.
Sorry about the thread drift, I believe some one mention an on line handbook but maybe that was for the bigger models
