Yes, the Neptune 2000 does have flame-failure thermo-couples fitted. All cookers that are to be SUPPLIED to be fitted to a boat must be fitted with such devices on all burners.

Whilst on the subject, a private individual is perfectly entitled to work on his/her gas system on board their own privately operated leisure vessel, but would be well advised to have the installation professionally checked and tested before further use, at which point a professional, who is CORGI registered for inspection must be appointed.

Importantly the CORGI registered inspector's (and installer's, if they are different contractors)certificate must be endorsed as having been trained in installation of gas system on board boats and other floating vessels. Its the law.
