You make a good point, the shaft may well whirl.
The hub of the folder is still in the original place; the blades are further back.
The Temet 25 shaft may be stronger and have better corrosion resistance than normal stainless, but it will not be stiffer.

At £500 for the prop, mistakes must be avoided.
