Well, I had a chat yesterday to the people in the outboard motor shop in Fareham, apparently the DT4 doesn't have a thermostat ! Progressing on from there, I asked how much to change the impeller (the only other option as I saw it), they said they'd do it as part of a service which would cost £45 + parts + VAT. Anyway, on the way out I stopped for a chat with one of the engineers who said it was more likely salt blocking the waterways in the engine and quoted around £70 + VAT to sort that out ......
Hmmmm, I think I need to look at this myself .... so anyone have a handbook and/or a manual for a Suzuki DT4 (preferably a manual !)?
