"No - not the same with Walters. Not the same with Davis. That is the whole point, and it is why your argument is so dishonest."

No, not dishonest. Both Walters and Davis gave Kriya initiation, not just as assistants. You can look this up. This question regarding Deitz, Walters, Davis, Mildred Hamilton, and others that don't come to mind, was answered to my satisfaction long ago.

"A few people who were highly advanced may have been given permission to teach yoga. These may have included Dr Lewis, Father Davila, Mother Hamilton, Swami Premananda and perhaps several others. However Walters and Davis were not among that number."

Yes they were. Walters at Hollywood Church during Yogananda's life. Davis at Phoenix during Yogananda's life. Others included Rev. Bernard.

"No that is not my opinion only, it is based on what Walters wrote in his own autobiography, where he states very clearly that he was asked to perform the mechanical initiation ceremony while he was still a Kriya novice who had only been practicing for a few months."

He also taught yoga and gave Sunday Services at Hollywood Church and San Diego.

"Many people were asked to help with initiations, only a handful were given permission to teach yoga. You are deliberately trying to confuse two very different things."

No, I'm not. The authority to initiate into Kriya comes from the Guru. We disagree on the objective outward facts regarding the disciples mentioned above. Since I wasn't there when Davis, Walters, Deitz, Hamilton, and others were with the Guru, there's not much I can say about that. I can say that I've seen the Guru's blessings in Kriya Yogis from several Kriya lines- including some that you dispute.

That's enough for me. I know it's not enough for you. And, as I said, we'll have to agree to disagree.

Ketch- I've happily answered quite alot of questions from you. And yet you accuse me of:

being 'dishonest', 'trying to confuse...things', 'avoiding the issue', 'evasive and meaningless answer(s)', 'insults', 'twisting events', 'BULLSHIT', 'sleight of hand', 'dishonest' (again).

And that's just on this one thread!!!

That's why I keep quoting my blessed Guru, as above:

"The churches, instead of arguing with one another about the infallibility of their individual dogmas .... should get together and find the real meaning of Life, and through psycho-ethical laws try to discover the universal standard of the art of living, which can really daily uplift and help their people."
-Paramahansa Yogananda
