Then again maybe he was an avatar. The very same audacity you resent in SRF which claims he was one, is being exhibited by you in your claim he wasnt.

You have no way to know whether it is true or not; its only a guess on your part.

Whoever said an avatar does not make mistakes? PY himself said that if he made a mistake it would be made right by God. This points to the fact that the divinely human part of an avatar is very much human whereas the Absolute aspect of his Self ensures his will is carried out despite setbacks or mistakes.

PY also stated that the delusive force/Satan attempted to thwart him numerous times but that God always made Satan his footstool in the end. This shows that even an avatar has struggles with Satan to fulfill his mission on earth but that this very struggle is only the lila, the show, and that he is supremely victorious despite any resistance.

Lastly, Br. Anandamoy of SRF stated that PY himself had admitted he was an avatar by implication when Kriyananda once openly asked him that very question. I dont believe Br.Anandamoy is given to embellishing facts or lying.

Since you yourself said that the state of an avatar is unimaginable, why do you imagine you can know who is one and who isnt by your own limited understanding?
